As we step into a new year, we pause to reflect with gratitude and humility on the calling that has shaped A Future and A Hope from its beginning.

The year 2025 proved to be a season of strain and testing for countless individuals and communities, and we felt that weight within our own organization as well. At a time when more congregations, families, and leaders were reaching out for guidance, training, and support, our financial capacity was reduced in ways we had not anticipated. The gap between need and provision became increasingly visible.

Yet in that very space of limitation, our confidence was renewed - not in our own strength or sufficiency, but in the One who entrusted this mission to us. We continue this work with the understanding that we are caretakers, not owners, and that its purpose and endurance are sustained by God’s faithfulness rather than our own resources alone. He is the One who opens doors for us for effective service.

Our purpose is simple, but profound - to offer hope and a future to those who are vulnerable, overlooked, or hurting. In 2025, that calling took on very tangible expression.

Ministry to Individuals

The need among women facing crisis pregnancies also grew significantly this year. More women reached out for help, counsel, and practical support - and many made courageous decisions to choose life for their pre-born children. Each story represents not a statistic, but a life touched with dignity, care, and hope.

In the shadow of war, our work expanded in unexpected ways. We assisted families from Israel’s north who were displaced and struggling as a result of the conflict, providing practical supplies and support during a season of upheaval. Families affected by the recent war with Iran, forced from their homes and facing sudden instability, also turned to us - and we were grateful to be able to respond with compassion and tangible help.

Ministry to Congregations

Over the past year, an increasing number of congregations across Israel requested training on safeguarding children, youth, and adults from sexual harassment and abuse within the Body of Messiah. We were privileged to respond, equipping leaders and communities with tools that protect the vulnerable and foster environments of safety, accountability, and healing.

We also completed the translation of all our existing materials on sex and sexuality -resources designed to help parents speak with their children in healthy, age-appropriate ways - into both Hebrew and Arabic. In addition, two new books are now being readied for publication in Hebrew, further expanding access to Biblically grounded, compassionate teaching in this critical area.

As we look toward 2026, the demand for books, supplies, training, and direct assistance continues to grow. Our vision is expanding into new and meaningful territory, even as our financial resources remain stretched. The work before us - protecting children, supporting pregnant women and families in crisis, and strengthening the Body of Messiah to defend the weak and to welcome the vulnerable - cannot continue without committed partners.

Your support is not simply a donation; it is a shared commitment to ensure that voices are heard, lives are protected, and hope is made visible. Partnership makes this work possible, and we are deeply grateful for every prayer, every gift, and every expression of trust placed in A Future and A Hope.

As we enter this new year, we invite you to consider standing alongside with us - so that together, we may continue to bring light, truth, and compassion where they are needed most.

Marvin (for us all)
